CHIP PRESENTATION

The taking of a desire chip is an outward sign of a desire to stop compulsive sexual behavior. In keeping with our Third Tradition, anyone who has a desire to stop compulsive sexual behavior may come forward to accept a Desire Chip.

Our group conscience has suggested that sexual sobriety means compliance with an individual’s pre-established sex plan. A sex plan is a written description of the sexual behavior for which a person is willing to be responsible.

The taking of chips in our group is strictly optional. Chips are offered to encourage individuals to meet their own personal commitments. Chips do not set individuals apart as authorities, but they do recognize milestones of achievement in an individual’s program.
